Beatriz Amin Miranda Veloso

Beatriz has a degree in International Relations from the Centro Universitário de Brasília with a specialization in Public Policy and Gender Justice from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO). She has experience in communications, knowledge management, and is a gender researcher with a focus on public policy. In the public sector, she interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the consular assistance department, working with Latin America and the Caribbean, and at the Ministry of Defense in the Special Studies division, where she was responsible for external communications and conducted analyses on the international context of the country in relation to WMDs and international security. She was a communications intern at UNDP Brazil and a trainee in a UNOPS health project. She is currently a social project analyst at the UNOPS Brazil office, assigned to the project: The Labor Prosecution Office’s Contribution to the 2030 Agenda: Social and Economic Transformation Actions resulting from the actions of the Labor Prosecution Office in Brazil. She is also conducting the following research: Assessing the Impacts of Period Poverty on the Health and Education of Menstruating Individuals in the City of Belo Horizonte, 2023-2024, at the Instituto René Rachou – Fiocruz Minas.

Graduada em Relações Internacionais no Centro Universitário de Brasília e especialista em Políticas Públicas e Justiça de Gênero pela Faculdade Latinoamericana de Ciências Sociais (FLACSO). Possui experiência em comunicação, gestão do conhecimento e é pesquisadora de gênero com enfoque em políticas públicas.No setor público, foi estagiária do Ministério das Relações Internacionais no setor de assistência consular, responsável pela América Latina e Caribe e estagiária do Ministério da Defesa no setor de Estudos Especiais, responsável pela comunicação externa do núcleo e análises sobre o contexto internacional do país em questões de IRA e segurança internacional. Foi estagiária de comunicação no PNUD Brasil e Trainee de projetos para saúde no UNOPS. Atualmente, analista de projetos sociais no escritório do UNOPS Brasil, alocada no Projeto de Contribuição do MPT à Agenda 2030: Ações de Transformação Social e Econômica decorrentes da atuação do Ministério Público do Trabalho no Brasil e conduz a pesquisa: Avaliação do impactos da pobreza menstrual na saúde e educação de menstruantes da Cidade de Belo Horizonte, 2023-2024 pelo Instituto René Rachou – Fiocruz Minas.
