Webombesa Audrey Maris is the Co-Founder of Cerebral Stars Day Care Center, Uganda’s first specialized day care for children with Cerebral Palsy. The center provides inclusive, holistic care for children with developmental disabilities while empowering parents, especially mothers, to reclaim their professional and personal aspirations. It also offers a safe space for healing, learning, and community-building while challenging stigma around disability in Uganda.

Audrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Makerere University, majoring in Human Resource Management. She built her career in HR before her son’s Cerebral Palsy diagnosis inspired her to shift into advocacy and care work. Her journey shaped the vision for Cerebral Stars. Audrey has served in leadership roles since school and continues to lead with empathy and purpose.

“As a visionary leader, I turn personal challenges into solutions that uplift and include the most overlooked in our society.”
