Athi Mbete is a South African Entrepreneur, Executive Search Specialist, People-Development Strategist, and an unapologetic builder of rooms where women, talent, and possibility are no longer peripheral but central. She is the Founder and CEO of TransEra Solutions, a 100% Black female-owned human capital advisory firm working across executive search, inclusive recruitment, DEI advisory, leadership development, talent intelligence and skills development. Through TransEra, Athi partners with corporates, multinationals, development organisations and emerging leaders to reimagine how talent is found, developed, positioned and included in the future of work.

Athi’s work sits at the powerful pulse point of women’s economic empowerment, leadership, access to opportunity and Africa’s talent agenda. Her journey has taken her into global advocacy and business platforms including the BRICS Women Business Alliance South Africa, G20 EMPOWER Alliance and EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women where she continues to champion women-owned enterprises, inclusive growth and the visibility of African women in decision-making spaces.

Known for her bold voice, intuitive leadership and ability to connect boardroom strategy with lived human reality, Athi believes leadership is not about imitation but rather it is about embodiment. Her mission is to build pathways for women, young professionals, entrepreneurs and underrepresented talent to access rooms, networks, markets and opportunities that were never easily handed to them. She leads from South Africa but her vision is continental, global and deeply rooted in the audacity of African possibility.
