Ashu Martha Agbornyenty is a distinguished Cameroonian Midwife, Reproductive Health Expert, and fierce advocate for maternal and child well-being. With a career rooted in both non-clinical expertise and impassioned leadership, she is the founder and Executive Director of the For Mom and Baby Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes for women and children in Cameroon.
Her work extends beyond her organization, as she is an accomplished author and blogger behind “Marthie’s Midwifery DIARY,” a platform where she champions the rights and vital role of midwives in global health. Her commitment to the profession and her community has earned her significant international recognition. She is an esteemed alumnus of the International Confederation of Midwives’ Young Midwife Leader program and was honored as a 2023 Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Goalkeeper Awardee.
