Anya Lim

ANTHILL Fabric Gallery is a social and cultural enterprise with a mission to support sustainable livelihood through elevating Filipino weaving in circular and contemporary design. ANTHILL builds the capacity of its partner communities by providing market access and transferring business skills so they can become successful and self-reliant enterprises. Anya Lim, ANTHILL’s founder, is passionate about women’s economic empowerment, particularly entrepreneurship in the weaving community and handcraft traditions.

Anya received her master’s in communications for social change from the University of Queensland, Australia. She was in the 2011 class of Asia Society Young Leaders, a 2016 Young Entrepreneur of Cebu Awardee by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce, 2017 Swedish Institute Management Fellow, 2018 Young Mansmith Marketers Awardee, GSBI-Miller Center Social Enterprise Fellow and Impact Management Fellow and Angels of Impact ASEAN Wise Fellow. She is also the recipient of the 2021 In Life Young Shero Circle of Excellence Award and the 2023 Ramon V Del Rosario Siklab Awards for impact entrepreneurship.
