Anne Mwatha is the CEO and Co-Founder of the Global Environment & Youth Foundation, a Kenyan-based NGO helping communities in arid and semi-arid regions move from surviving climate shocks to building resilient futures. Through community-led solutions in water harvesting, regenerative agriculture, ecosystem restoration and youth agripreneurship, G-EYF equips vulnerable households with the knowledge, skills, resources and market opportunities to thrive.
Mwatha is an agribusiness consultant and food systems specialist with over a decade experience across public service, agricultural research and enterprise development. She has worked in progressive agribusiness and livestock development roles in the Government of Kenya and with the World Vegetable Center, advancing value chain research, regenerative agriculture, market systems development, and inclusive livelihood strategies for farmers especially women and youth.
