Anna Petrova is an impact entrepreneur, mentor, and ideologist of entrepreneurship culture development in Ukraine. Since the age of 16, she has been helping people find their path, realize their dreams, and live consciously and purposefully.

She is the Founder of Startup Ukraine, a leading center for entrepreneurship, and Selfmade Woman, a community for women’s leadership and empowerment. In 2016, she launched Wake Up Call, one of Ukraine’s first national initiatives focused on mental health and well-being.

Anna has transformed the lives of over 100,000 people through business education and inner development programs. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, she has initiated support programs for Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Denmark, Sweden, the UK, and the USA. In 2024, she started the Ukrainian Business Embassy with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine to help Ukrainian brands access international markets and promote the “Made in Ukraine” brand.

Her work contributes to several UN SDGs, including SDG 4, SDG 5, SDG 3, SDG 8 and SDG 16. She believes that peace starts from within and that entrepreneurship can be a tool for healing and transformation.

At 28, Anna was featured on the cover of Forbes Ukraine as one of the first young women leaders in its “30 Under 30” list. She is a recipient of the InBIA Beacon Award 2022 and the Susie Ellis Scholarship for Equity in Wellness from the Global Wellness Institute. She holds a degree in international economics and completed leadership programs at Warwick University and the Swedish Institute.
