Anna Gabriella Casalme is the proud daughter of Filipino immigrants and is dedicated to designing genuinely youth-driven learning experiences. She is the founder and CEO of Novelly, an educational technology non-profit that inspires civic action among youth through stories. Novelly is releasing a mobile reading app with generous support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the US Department of Health and Human Services. As a Rotary Maternal and Child Health Scholar and a Scottish Saltire Scholar, Anna completed an MSc in Childhood Studies at the University of Edinburgh, where she conducted research on the relationship between the Mexico City Policy of the US and adolescent reproductive health in Kenya. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Human Biology and honors in education from Stanford University. In her spare time, she also serves as the youngest ever board member of the School-Based Health Alliance.
