Aline is a first-year undergrad student at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences (IAG) of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where she studies Geophysics. As a woman in Science, she wants to help bring more diversity and inclusion to this area. She is the co-founder and executive director of ElaSTEMpoder, a non-profit organization that stimulates female participation in STEM fields. In 2018, Aline was the first Brazilian to attend the 49th International Astronomical Youth Camp, where she built a Miniature of the LIGO Gravitational Wave Detector, and in 2020 she was one of the 5 finalists for the “Change the World like a Girl” award. Currently, she is an alumnus at the Latin American Leadership Academy and is performing research in Seismology with the University of São Paulo and the University of Brasília (UnB).

Aline was selected as a participant in the 2021 Voces Que Inspiran.
