Alexandra Givan is the Global Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Creator Programs Lead at TikTok, where she builds and executes initiatives designed to develop, empower, celebrate and amplify historically marginalized creator communities across TikTok’s global platform.

Prior to TikTok, Alexandra was the Director of Sony Music Group’s inaugural DEI team. In this role, she spearheaded the development and execution of initiatives and policies across SMG’s global recorded music, publishing, and corporate divisions. Alexandra also spent several years as a communications professional at Comcast, managing government affairs programming to elevate Comcast NBCUniversal’s brand reputation. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park and a certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University. A NY native, Alexandra loves traveling, experiencing new cuisine, and her plant family.
