Ajara Marie Bomah is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in business development, media communications, and diaspora engagement. She is the Founder of Women Mean Business (WMB), a strategic communications agency that empowers African entrepreneurs to develop their brands and businesses. Her leadership at WMB has created a vehicle for collaboration, mentoring, and networking, providing safe spaces for women entrepreneurs to realize their dreams.

She is also a volunteer ED of Sierra Leone Youth Advocate Program (SLYAP), an initiative dedicated to empowering young leaders and fostering civic participation among Sierra Leonean youth. SLYAP aims to create a platform for advocacy, life skills development, and governance processes, equipping young people with the tools they need to be effective advocates for change.

She has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Western Region Secretary for the APC party, the Vice President of the West Africa Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. and the President of Power Women 232, a network of female professionals working to empower themselves in order to create impact in their communities. Her work has been instrumental in promoting youth and gender advocacy, through collaboration with government entities, private sector companies, and NGOs in the U.S. and Africa.
