Aishworya Shrestha

Aishworya Shrestha is the founder of Antardhoni Nepal, a nonprofit providing free mental health services focusing on the most marginalized communities, women and girls in the adult entertainment sector, victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, and adolescents. She also co-founded Heart of Nepal, a non-profit based on family livelihoods that directly supports the education of Dalit children through the financial empowerment of their mothers.

With a Master’s in Social Work, Shrestha has 8 years of experience in multiple social work fields. She is a former wheelchair basketball coach, an adult literacy trainer for women and girls in the adult entertainment sector, and a civic tech social worker. She is a social science researcher with publications on mental health, gender issues, GBV, and civic tech.
