Focus Areas

Larigo created Agency Connection to assist adoption and fostering services in finding diverse individuals with the skills and motivation to review agencies’ work. This panel helps ensure that fostered or adopted children are placed with safe, suitable families. Larigo prioritizes ethnic diversity in adoption and fostering panels because she believes that every child’s voice should be heard and amplified.

Larigo is dedicated to speaking up for vulnerable children and making sure they are represented well. She has experience working on different projects, such as leading the national adoption campaign, “You Can Adopt,” helping to recruit black adopters in parts of England, and providing training for professionals on faith and cultural literacy. Her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Birmingham has prepared her to work towards her goal of increasing diversity in adoption and fostering panels.
