Isabella Rodríguez

Isabella is an Industrial Engineering student, the president and founder of Echa Pa’ Lante Mujer and a nominee for the Oye Mujer Prize in the Agents of Change category. She has won several prizes, including first place at Senacyt’s 2021 Young Engineers Fair and at the Entrepreneurship and Sustainability through Innovation Competition. She has also participated in a range of national and international programs on leadership, entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment, such as the Central American Leaders Meeting based in Guatemala, organized by Vital Voices, the Youth Leaders for Change Camp, organized by San Miguelito Mayor’s Office, and the OxMedica program focused on Financial Engineering in Saudi Arabia. In her free time, she loves to explore, read and learn new things. Her greatest passion is to help others, whether as an activist for gender equality, inclusion or closing opportunity gaps.

Estudiante de Ingeniería Industrial, presidenta y fundadora de Echa Pa‘ Lante Mujer; nominada a los Premios Oye Mujer en la categoría “Agentes de Cambio”. Ganadora de múltiples premios como lo son la Feria de Ingenio Científico Juvenil 2021 de Senacyt, y el Concurso de Emprendimiento y Sostenibilidad por Innovanation, en ambos obteniendo el primer lugar. Además, ha participado en diversos programas a nivel nacional e internacional sobre liderazgo, emprendimiento y empoderamiento femenino, como los son el Encuentro de Líderes Centroamericanas con sede en Guatemala, por la organización Voces Vitales; Campamento de Jóvenes Líderes por el Cambio, por la Alcaldía de San Miguelito, así como el programa OxMedica con énfasis en Ingeniería Financiera en Arabia Saudita. En su tiempo libre le encanta explorar, leer y aprender cosas nuevas. Su mayor pasión es ayudar a los demás, siendo activista por la igualdad de género, luchando por la inclusión y el cierre de brechas de oportunidades.
