The Global Ambassadors Program in the United Kingdom will take place from Monday 22nd through Friday 26th February 2016 in London and will focus on addressing the ongoing needs and challenges facing women leaders of NGOs as well as women in business and social enterprise who are engaged in the most urgent issues of our time such as humanitarian crises, rebuilding fractured communities and promoting inclusive growth from countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region as well as Eastern Europe.

The program will underscore the critical roles women play in making transformational change and highlight the role of women as drivers of innovation and socio-economic growth during the transition from insecurity and instability to prosperity.

Mentees will be women leaders from countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and Eastern Europe who are either:

  • leaders of non-profit organizations and institutions
  • businesswomen, entrepreneurs or social entrepreneurs

Mentees will be engaged in issues such as the humanitarian and refugee crises taking place in these regions, rebuilding fractured communities and/or promoting inclusive growth.
