Barefoot Walk: Mothers’ Call for Peace
Barefoot Walk: Mothers’ Call for Peace is a global movement of Israeli and Palestinian mothers standing together to ignite hope and end the cycle of violence. On March 24th, 2026, mothers and allies will walk barefoot through the streets of Rome, a powerful symbol of vulnerability and strength, to protect the future of every child. Led by Women of the Sun (Palestine) and Women Wage Peace (Israel), this walk is a call for the urgent inclusion of women, mothers and their communities in shaping a just and lasting peace.
