Talia is Chief Development Officer at Vital Voices. She is responsible for developing long-term partnerships and raising financial resources to help Vital Voices thrive.

Talia has over two decades of experience in women’s rights and social justice. Prior to joining Vital Voices, Talia served as Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Clooney Foundation for Justice, which advocates for survivors of human rights abuse. For close to a decade, Talia served as Vice President for Strategy and External Relations at the Fund for Global Human Rights, which supports frontline human rights defenders in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and MENA with grants and capacity-building. She also served as Vice President for Development at the National Women’s Law Center, working with donors to support law and public policy that improves the educational, employment, health, and reproductive rights of women and girls in the United States. Talia also worked as a consultant, helping social justice organizations in Hong Kong, India, the U.K. and the U.S. with program development, communications, and fundraising. She served as a Mentor for The Women’s Foundation Mentorship Program, and is on the Advisory Board of the Funders Initiative for Civil Society. Talia holds a B.A. from Boston University, and a J.D. from George Washington University.
