Kaya Hencke

Kaya is the Development Assistant at Vital Voices. In this role, she supports gift processing and donor relations and manages donor data.

She completed her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies: Communication, Law, Economics, and Government with a minor in Literature from American University. During her time at AU, she was involved with the AU Literary Magazine, Students for a Just Society, and Students Against Food Insecurity. She also interned at the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking, and at Vital Voices on the Leadership and Social Impact team.
