Kalli Ruffennach

Kalli is a Program Assistant for the Leadership and Social Impact team at Vital Voices. She assists with the logistical planning and implementation for the the following programs: VV Visionaries, Global Ambassadors Program (GAP), Next Movers, and WomenLead India.

Prior to joining Vital Voices, Kalli attended the University of Delaware where she earned a BA in Psychology and Interpersonal Communication, along with minors in Political Science and Women’s Studies. During her time at university, she assisted with the Middle Eastern Partnership Initiative (MEPI) where she helped student leaders from the MENA region in implementing their civic engagement projects within their communities. Moreover, she also worked as a Resident Assistant, served as the Chair of World Knowledge for the Delaware Diplomats Scholarship Program, was a Peer Educator and Building Manager for the school’s wellness department, and focused on education policy as an Equity Intern for UD’s Biden Institute in San Francisco. She also studied intercultural and health communication while abroad in New Zealand. Kalli previously interned with the LSI department before helping with the team’s global programming initiatives full-time.
