Issue Advocacy

Kaddy is the Program Assistant for the Issue Advocacy team at Vital Voices. She supports work with global women leaders, including advisory services and other forms of advocacy such as coalition work and awareness-raising. Her primary responsibilities are logistical, administrative, and programmatic support for the Issues Advocacy team at Vital Voices. Prior to joining Vital Voices, she graduated from the American University School of International Service with a Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution concentrating on Transitional Justice and Peace-building. While in graduate school, Kaddy worked as a Research Assistant for the International Partnerships team at the United States Institute of Peace. A prime component of her research work entails post-conflict and dictatorial rule development, the effects of conflicts on nations, and the role of national and intergovernmental organizations’ confrontation with global security and peace threats. Kaddy’s research also examines how peace and security policies affect women at national and international levels.
