Global Network & Regional Engagement

Julia is a Program Assistant of Network Engagement on the Global Network and Regional Engagement team at Vital Voices. They are responsible for the Global Mentoring Walks, supporting the Honoree Program, as well as communication and outreach with network leaders.

Prior to joining Vital Voices, she completed her B.S. in International Business with minors in Leadership Studies and French from the University of Denver. During her undergraduate time, Julia was a Co-Project Manager of a Community Change Initiative in which she partnered with Denver Special Olympics and The Rise School of Denver to increase awareness around the value of a neurodiverse workplace. While interning with The Borgen Project, Julia lobbied her congressional leaders to make women’s rights in the developing world more of a priority in U.S. foreign policy particularly on behalf of bills such as the Keeping Girls in School Act and the Girls LEAD Act, along with covid equity relief and extreme poverty alleviation legislation. She is also a sexual and gender-based violence hotline advocate for The Blue Bench in Denver.
