Regional Engagement & Impact

Grace serves as the Program Assistant, Afghanistan for the Regional Engagement and Impact team at Vital Voices. In this role, she supports the Voices Against Violence programs and subawards in Afghanistan. Grace also helps to support the Aghaaz Fellowship and will assist with placements and mentorship.
Prior to joining Vital Voices, Grace earned her BA in Political Science at the University of Vermont. During her time at UVM, she was a senator for the Student Government Association where she wrote and promoted resolutions to call on university administration to better support underrepresented and marginalized students. She also studied abroad in Brussels during university, where she interned at Revolve, an environmental media publication which progresses climate policy for the European Union. Grace has also worked on numerous political campaigns throughout the years, pursuing a passion of activism and engaging in local community work. She also completed an internship at Vital Voices on the Regional Engagement & Impact team.
