Eda is the Senior Data Specialist for the GNRE team at Vital Voices; she provides technical assistance for the Urgent Assistance Fund (UAF) and other programming under the Voices Against Violence Initiative. Before joining Vital Voices Eda started her career in Ernst & Young as an experienced Global Compliance and Reporting Consultant. After completing her masters in Applied Economics at University Maryland, College Park she transitioned to health system strengthening, labor and social inclusion projects as she served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant for the World Bank Group supporting Syrian refugees, especially women and children, integration into Turkey.
What is the last good book you read? The Tyranny of Experts by William Easterly which argues that there is no magical recipe to promote economic development unless economic, political, and personal freedom worldwide can be supported.
