Carrie is the Manager on the Issue Advocacy team at Vital Voices. In this role, she works on the coordination and implementation of VVEngage, a VV signature fellowship that supports female political leaders from around the globe.

Prior to joining Vital Voices, Carrie graduated with her Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, she completed several internships focused on women’s empowerment and advancing human rights, including with Plan International Myanmar, the International Republican Institute’s Women’s Democracy Network, and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. Before starting graduate school, Carrie worked for three years in the membership department at the Council on Foreign Relations. Carrie also holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
