Leadership & Social Impact
Abby is a Program Assistant on the Leadership and Social Impact team at Vital Voices. In this role, she assists with the implementation of the VV GROW Fellowship and supports the Vital Voices partnership with Google.org for their Impact Challenge for Women and Girls.
Prior to joining Vital Voices, she completed her B.A. in International Relations with a minor in International Business from the University of San Diego. During her undergraduate studies, Abby served on the Student International Business Council, where she was commissioned by Kite Insights to provide research on the intersection between women and climate change. This research was produced for their client, the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, a leading platform that features women’s voices and actions on global social and economic issues.
Her passion for women’s empowerment reached new heights when she attended and supported the execution of the 2019 Women’s Forum in Paris, France. Additionally, she has completed a number of internships, including with the San Diego Diplomacy Council and the Office of Congresswoman Susan Davis. For her work with the San Diego Diplomacy Council, she was nominated and selected as a 2020 Global Ties Emerging Leader.
