Program Assistant, Afghanistan Crisis Response Team

Wardah is the Program Assistant for the Afghanistan Crisis Response Team. She provides regional expertise in the Middle East, specifically Afghanistan. Prior to joining Vital Voices, she worked at Tree Street Youth, a community-based organization where she led youth-centered programs and partnerships that encouraged leadership, learning, exploration and growth.

Wardah is currently enrolled at George Washington University, where she is pursuing a Masters in International Development Studies specializing in strengthening local governance, elevating the voices of civil society and integrating the localized expertise of community members. She speaks Pashto, Urdu, Hindi, and Dari.
