Virginia Muradzikwa

Member of Parliament, Zimbabwe


Virginia is a Member of Parliament in Zimbabwe, representing the Harare Metropolitcan Province. She is a member of the Public Accounts, Transport, Youth, Arts and Culture, and Lands, Water, Climate and Rural Development Committees in Parliament. She is also a National Women’s Organizing Secretary of Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), the largest opposition party in Zimbabwe. She was previously the MDC Youth National Secretary for Social Welfare.

She works with vulnerable women, street children, and underprivileged young girls in rural areas.

She is working on a project to sew reusable menstraul pads and distribute them to vulnerable women and girls in rural areas in her community.


She was selected as a Fellow for the 2019-2020 VV Engage Cohort.
