Mona Itani

Mona is the General Manager of Riyada for Social Innovation, a social enterprise that offers youth programs, corporate trainings, and consulting services on social innovation and entrepreneurship. Riyada’s primary programs are their youth innovation programs and their e-learning platform for high school students, Shabab Lab. These programs aim to equip youth with social innovation skills consisting of digital technology, entrepreneurship and community engagement, while also connecting them with a helpful network. Riyada also offers corporate-sponsored innovation, mentorship and coaching programs as well as business development services to small and medium-sized enterprises. Mona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Management from the American University of Beirut and a PhD in Management from the University of Leicester. She belongs to the Lebanese League for Women in Business, She Entrepreneurs, the UNLEASH Community, and the U.S. Department of State alumni network. Mona’s expertise is in technology, education, management, and entrepreneurship.

What Mona hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship:
Mona is excited to grow her network, hone her management skills, and increase international exposure for her business. She hopes the program will enable her to be the best leader she can be and help her build a scalable company with a loyal team.
