Max Levites

Coordinator, Executive Office

Max is the Executive Coordinator at Vital Voices. In this role, he is responsible for supporting the work of the CEO and Senior Leadership and serves as liaison to the Board of Directors. He also manages the Vital Voices podcast.

Prior to joining Vital Voices, Max worked on a congressional campaign in his home district in Pennsylvania and at Global Integrity, an anti-corruption non-profit. He also interned at UNESCO’s International Institute for Education Planning in Paris, France, where he conducted research on corruption in education sectors.

Max holds an MA in German and European Studies from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, with a concentration in relations between the EU and the post-Soviet space, and holds additional certificates in Russian and Eurasian Studies and Diplomatic Studies. He received his BA in International Relations and French Studies from the University of Delaware. Max speaks Russian, French, and basic German, and in his free time co-hosts a Eurovision podcast with his friends.
