Councilwoman, Colina Municipality
Alejandra has served since 2016 as a Councilman for the Municipality of Colina in the northern part of Santiago de Chile. She is a journalist and began her public service helping women entrepreneurs to sell their products online. The focus of her work has been to improve the living conditions of her sector, especially in security issues due to violence against women. As Councilwoman, she chairs the Environment Commission, Security and Transportation in the Municipality Council.
Alejandra is part of the EVOPOLI political party where she is the National Chief of Councilman.
Her main work has been with women, empowering them and improving their living conditions, especially in rural areas where they have little access to health centers, clean water and decent housing conditions.
