Director, Human Resources
With over 14 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources operations to include the practice of Labor & Employment defense on behalf of public, non-profit and private sector clients, Keisha is responsible for leading, coaching and counseling all Vital Voices internal stakeholders in the delivery of the full scope of HR Operations necessary to creating and maintaining a culture of inclusivity, accountability and empathy.
Since 2014 and prior to joining Vital Voices, Keisha was responsible for the development and leadership of high functioning HR teams in several non-profits focused on closing the achievement gap for students living in Washington, DC’s underserved communities. Her roles required strategic development and tactical implementation of policies and procedures designed to elevate organizational HR operations delivery while creating innovative ways for all employees to engage, own and embody the mission and values of the non-profits served. Keisha obtained her B.A., with honors, from George Mason University and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
