Director of Programs, Human Rights
Jessica is the Director of Human Rights at Vital Voices Global Partnership. In this role, Jessica oversees the implementation of programs to address gender-based violence (GBV). She also leads Vital Voices’ policy and advocacy work on GBV and human trafficking.
Over the last decade, Jessica has held positions in a range of organizations from the very grassroots level to large international development institutions in countries across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and South East Asia. Prior to joining Vital Voices, Jessica led the development of a global platform for CSOs advocating for women’s rights and gender equality at Women Thrive Worldwide and managed human trafficking programs at Free the Slaves. Jessica has also held fellowship positions at the Inter-American Development Bank and the Aspen Institute. She holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. Jessica received her B.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington, a Graduate Certificate in Law from Science-Po Paris, and an M.A. in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
