Janine Feitosa

Janine is a first year Psychology student at the Vale do São Francisco Federal University. She has been an activist from an early age: when she was 18, she was already a keen advocate for gender equality in order to build a fairer society, and she also intends to carry out her environmental protection project to create and disseminate sustainable attitudes for protecting the São Francisco River, which is the third biggest watershed of Brazil. Janine studied at a residency school in Rio de Janeiro, where she was a member of the Três Marias School Collective, and she carried out scientific research on gender inequality in football, which was essential for igniting her leadership spirit.

Janine was selected as a participant in the 2019 Voces Que Inspiran.
