Senior Human Resources Manager

Ericka is the Senior Human Resources Manager at Vital Voices. She is responsible for advising on matters of legal and compliance issues, advancing a culture of collaboration among staff, providing direction for the management of organizational policies and procedures, providing guidance to management on performance management, employee relations, total compensation, and conflict resolution. She’s also responsible for developing organization strategies and contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction.

 

Prior to joining Vital Voices, Ericka worked at the Charles County Public Library and the Electrochemical Society where she served as HR Manager and HR and Operations Specialist. She was responsible for the strategic development and management of the human resources department. She created innovative ways to engage all employees and established the culture, systems and training that would develop leaders and empower employees to solve problems. She helped to create policies and procedures that were efficient and effective by providing HR solutions; building their HR infrastructures through technology, compliance and people.
