Senior Technology Advisor

Alice is helping Vital Voices to leverage technology to increase the scale of its impact and network. She believes there are lots of opportunities to empower the Vital Voices staff and network with more integrated technologies to reach more women around the world. She works closely with program leaders to identify where and how to best use technology, data science and data analytics to scale the amazing work done by Vital Voices.


Alice is a software engineer passionate about using technology for social impact.  Originally from France where she earned a PhD in computer science,  She moved to New York in 2005 and joined Google as a software engineer and then team lead on Google Maps. In 2010, following the earthquake in Haiti, she transitioned as a founding member of the Google Crisis Response team, working to use technology to help people in situation of natural disasters.

She now coaches mission driven startups in US, Kenya and Haiti to help them build their engineering culture and foster innovation.

She is also an active member of the non-profit Haiti Futur, supporting education in Haiti  by introducing technology in the classroom.
