Gender inequity is one of the most urgent challenges we face, and COVID-19 has further threatened the economic future of women and girls. Vital Voices, alongside Project Everyone, is a proud partner of the Google.org Impact Challenge for Women & Girls: a $25 million fund to support nonprofits and social enterprises creating pathways to prosperity. Together, we are driven by the shared belief that solving big problems requires collective action, and that the people closest to the challenges are often those closest to the solution.

In 2015, at the UN, world leaders signed up to an amazing plan to combat poverty, inequality, and climate change by 2030 – The Global Goals for Sustainable Development. These Goals are the To-Do List we all need for a better world, and we need them more than ever in the face of COVID, climate, and conflict. But we can’t achieve any of the Goals unless we achieve Goal 5: Gender Equality. We want to send a message loud and clear that ‘5 Comes First.’ Join us to show your support for women and girls at this fun social media activation. Hundreds of organizations and activists have already taken part – join them and show your commitment to gender equality.

Share your “To Do” with us on social @VitalVoices and @theglobalgoals.
