About Renata:

Renata is the General Manager of Tuco & Tico, an Artisan Bakery and Dessert Shop. The Bakery offers desserts, raw honey and coffee from local producers. They also produce plantain, sweet potato and veggie chips, breads, sandwiches, paninis and cookies. They also provide catering and the private label manufacturing of food products for other restaurants, cafes and hotels. Tuco & Tico is constantly innovating to meet their customers needs by inventing new flavors, packaging and introducing new products. Recently, Tuco & Tico has introduced a new recycling program and a better space to help other entrepreneurs sell their products in Tuco & Tico shops. In addition to managing Tuco & Tico, Renata also shares her insights on the Quattro Hermanas blog with her sisters. On the blog they discuss everything from being moms, wives, entrepreneurs, to the ups and downs of everyday life. Renata has many years of experience in the culinary arts, marketing and graphic design. She received her degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Don Bosco in El Salvador, her degree in Culinary Arts from SCARTS in El Salvador, and her Masters in Marketing from IED in Madrid, Spain.

What Renata hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship:

Renata hopes to learn from other leaders about how they manage time, resources, and ideas for them to make their businesses not only successful but profitable. She hopes to lead her team to better business opportunities as well as gain better human resources tools so that her team experiences constant growth themselves.

What Renata can offer other fellows:

Renata can offer her experience in business in developing countries in the baking or related industry and she can teach how businesses can bring profits to local communities.
