Nasra Awadhi is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of ShuleYetu, a Tanzanian education technology company dedicated to improving access to quality education through innovative digital solutions. In her role, she leads operations, strategic partnerships, business development and growth initiatives, ensuring the delivery of impactful tools that support schools, educators, parents and learners.

ShuleYetu provides an integrated e-learning and school management platform designed to enhance teaching, learning and administrative efficiency within schools. Through its work, the company contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by expanding access to effective learning solutions and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening the education sector and driving digital innovation and productivity.

As a Co-Founder, Nasra has played a central role in shaping the company’s vision and scaling its growth within Tanzania’s EdTech ecosystem. Her leadership contributed to ShuleYetu being recognized as the only woman-led venture selected for the first cohort of the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship in Tanzania. She has also been selected for prestigious leadership and entrepreneurship programs, including the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and the Amazon Leadership Initiative.

Nasra is driven by a strong commitment to building scalable, technology-driven solutions that advance educational equity and expand opportunity for learners and educators in underserved communities. She works at the intersection of innovation, leadership and impact, focused on delivering practical solutions that create measurable change in education systems. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership and Governance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
