DASTAK Foundation is a women and survivor-led non-profit aimed at advancing the sexual and reproductive health and rights of both young girls and women, strengthening sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) prevention and indigenizing the feminist movement within Pakistan.

Hira Amjad is an award-winning feminist and gender justice advocate with 11 years of experience in advancing the human rights of young girls and women. Her mission is to decolonize the women’s rights movement through her initiative AMPLIFY Feminism, to strengthen SGBV prevention through her platform Waseela, and to mainstream comprehensive sexuality education for youth at religious seminaries through the FemTech tool Marham.

“As a visionary leader, I want to empower young girls and women to break the echo chambers of inequality and to recognize their autonomy, agency, and rights. I want to smash the hell out of patriarchy for a living.”
