Frohar Hamidi is the Co-founder of Sun’s Girls Organization, a project developed to empower young Afghan girls who are deprived from the right to continue their education. Her organization plays a crucial role in impacting the lives of Afghan girls by providing them with opportunities for free education and empowerment. SGO has reached thousands of girls across multiple provinces in Afghanistan.

She is currently a Savy fellowship holder. She has also worked in many non-profit organizations, including 21st Century Girls and Afghanistan Astronomy Association, focused on empowering girls in Afghanistan through STEM programs.
