Victoria Omotoye is the Founder of Life in My Hands Initiative (LiMHi), a youth-led grassroots organization dedicated to marine conservation and sustainable coastal livelihoods in Nigeria. LiMHi empowers young people and coastal communities through environmental education, advocacy, and hands-on restoration projects that promote ocean health and climate resilience. Her mission is to connect everyday actions with global ocean sustainability through collective responsibility.

Omotoye has led and co-led several community-based environmental campaigns, including the Makoko Waterfront Revival, and volunteers with initiatives like SDSN Nigeria and Analyca Policy Institute. She previously served as the Regional Focal Point Coordinator for LCOY Nigeria and contributes to climate negotiations and youth policy spaces. She holds a degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Biology and brings a strong background in environmental impact assessment and community engagement.

“As a visionary leader, I build bridges between grassroots action and global solutions for a thriving ocean future.”
