Carla Rios-Palma

Rios-Palma is working on a project to promote the inclusion of women in STEM. With this initiative, she expects gender bias to reduced in the area and that more girls have role models to be motivated to study STEM careers. Rios-Palma is an industrial engineer and completed her education at the University of Chile.During her professional career she has worked in analytics, machine learning, marketing and strategy. She is motivated to improve customer experience through data-driven strategies, obtaining information from different processes through data science and machine learning tools. Her leadership is empathic, collaborative and customer-focused. She has extensive experience in Banking and Telecommunications in Chilean companies; previously she was head of an advanced analytics team.
