Ayotunde Omitogun is the Founder and Executive Director of the Cardiac Community Advocacy and Support Initiative, a patient-led nonprofit improving the lives of people living with pulmonary hypertension and other cardiovascular conditions in Nigeria. Inspired by her lived experience with pulmonary arterial hypertension, she leads efforts to raise awareness, strengthen early diagnosis and referral, expand patient support, and advocate for equitable access to care.

Omitogun has led national awareness campaigns, healthcare worker training initiatives, and cross-sector partnerships with healthcare professionals, government, civil society, and global organizations. As a patient advocate and nonprofit leader, she is committed to building empowered communities, strengthening health systems, and advancing sustainable, people-centered solutions.

“As a visionary leader, I strive to transform lived experience into collective action, inspire courageous leadership, empower communities, strengthen health systems, and build sustainable institutions that create lasting social impact for future generations.”
