Alejandra Alvarez is the founder of Marlia, an eco-friendly e-commerce in Peru that wants to demonstrate that we can all lead a more natural and eco-friendly lifestyle accompanied by products that do not harm people or the world. Marlia’s goal is to encourage harmony between self-love and love for nature and as a multi-brand ecommerce, aims to help other small businesses position themselves in the Peruvian market.
As a marketing and advertising specialist, Alvarez has created more than 25 brands, worked with over 100 small businesses on their social media management and supervised the development and design process of 20 websites, including ecommerce, corporate and landing pages. Her interest in sustainable businesses, environmental protection and entrepreneurship, along with her experience in digital businesses, allowed her to create Marlia. She also co-created a digital community called Natureando to further promote environmental awareness.
Alvarez has a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Advertising. She is currently pursuing an MBA and a master’s degree in innovation and sustainability.
