Vital Voices Solidarity Chair Alex Prout and DC Council Member Susan Prout generously hosted a book party to celebrate the release of former NFL player, activist, Solidarity Council Member and past Solidarity Award Honoree Don McPherson’s book, You Throw Like a Girl: The Blind Spot to Masculinity. Alex and Don shared portions of Don’s book throughout a conversation and Q&A session discussing the term “toxic masculinity” and Don’s efforts to end gender-based violence.
