05/06/2020 -Women on the Frontlines featuring Leah and Rouba
Vital Voices supporters from around the world joined Vital Voices CEO Alyse Nelson and Vital Voices women leaders Dr. Rouba Mhaissen and Leah Lizarondo for a conversation on how they’ve pivoted their organizations to respond to COVID-19. Rouba is an activist working in Syrian refugee populations, fighting to make sure that the needs of refugee populations are not lost during the global crisis. Leah is a Pittsburgh-based social entrepreneur combatting food insecurity during the pandemic by helping connect food suppliers with those who need it most.
