On October 8th the Vital Voices Northwest Council hosted its First Annual Vital Voices Seattle event at the Museum of History and Industry. The evening featured a cocktail reception, silent auction, seated dinner, and program, which brought together in conversation Dr. Victoria Kisyombe, founder of the micro-credit firm Selfina, Samar Minnallah Khan, a filmmaker, anthropologist, and activist for women’s rights, Mary Snapp, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Philanthropy in Microsoft’s Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs department, Jonathan Sposato, Chairman of Geekwire.com and CEO of PicMonkey, and Academy Award-winner, Sally Field.
