Vital Voices is seeking one intern to support the work of the Political & Civic Engagement (PCE) team. The PCE Department develops and implements Vital Voices programs specifically geared to increase the leadership and technical capacity of women leaders in the elected and appointed office as well as in key positions in civil society. The PCE Department is responsible for implementing Vital Voices’ signature fellowship programs for women political leaders as well as other programs and initiatives.
Individuals with a demonstrated commitment to international women’s advocacy, leadership development, public diplomacy, political participation, and civil society development are encouraged to apply. The internship requires an ideal commitment of 40 hours per week for full-time interns, or 20 hours a week for part-time interns. This is an unpaid internship, though Vital Voices will comply with university requirements for internship credit. Applications are accepted for fall, spring, and summer terms.
