Position Description:

The Vital Voices team is seeking a motivated intern who will support the Leadership & Global Activation team and provide analytical support on a research project. This position reports to the team’s Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist.

 

The internship requires a commitment of up to 10 hours per week. The position is unpaid, but students may receive academic credit for their experience in cooperation with their university. Applications are accepted for the fall, spring, and summer terms, and preference will be given to students who can commit to a full semester. Working remotely is available for this specific position.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and data analytics, specifically with qualitative materials
  • Synthesizing data into digestible formats
  • Writing and editing reports

 

Qualifications:

  • Majoring in international affairs, public policy, gender studies or some other relevant field (graduate students preferred)
  • Interest in and knowledge of global women’s issues and international development
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Nvivo, and document formatting skills preferred)
