The Human Resources Intern will directly assist the Sr. Human Resources Manager with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, employee benefits, employee engagement, and staff development. This internship requires working with highly sensitive and confidential information and is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to his or her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting.
The internship requires an ideal commitment of 20 to 40 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship, though Vital Voices will comply with university requirements for internship credit. We strive to provide an enriching internship experience, including brown bag sessions and technical trainings as well as exposure to administrative policies and procedures and financial management and accounting system exposure.
